Aprilaire
will be eventually discontinuing the #201 and #401 Media Filter for
the Models 2200 and 2400 Air Cleaner.
The replacement filter
#213 will replace the #201 media filter and the #413
filter will replace the #401 media filter.
In order for the new
filters to fit your current 2200 or 2400 air cleaner,
you will need an upgrade kit. The kit #1213 is for the
air cleaner model 2200 and the kit #1413 is for the air
cleaner model 2400.
WHY
SWITCH?
1. The 201 and 401
media filters are being discontinued.
2. The new 213 and 413
media filters have increased performance. It is nearly 2
times more efficient and will remove even more
contaminants smaller than you can see.
3. Easy Maintenance:
Once the kit is installed, the maintenance is easy
because the black plastic pleat spacers are no longer
needed.
HOW DO
I SWITCH?
The install kit is a
one-time upgrade and requires NO TOOLS. Once installed,
the new 213 and 413 filters are used.
